Jeremy Martin will be the next Fire Chief for the City of Fulton, replacing retiring Chief Terry Rudolph, who has served the City for 23 years, and Daniel Hamm will take on the job as the City of Fulton's Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator, following action taken Friday morning, June 3, in special called session of the Fulton City Commission.

Fulton City Manager Mike Gunn was authorized, through separate Municipal Orders to facilitate the hirings.

Mayor David Prater, Commissioners Darcy Linn, Cubb Stokes and Jeff Vaughn were present, unanimously approving the authorization to complete the hiring process for the two positions.

Hamm will begin his duties June 13, and Martin, June 20.

"We are proud to have both men join the team here at the City of Fulton." said Gunn.

Gunn, who previously held the position of Fire Chief for the City of Fulton, prior to accepting the City Manager's position, went on to say "There are those who love the fire service and those that don't. Jeremy Martin is one of those that love the fire service. When you work with people like Jeremy, who do love the fire service, it makes for an incredible experience."

Gunn said Martin has the knowledge, drive and experience to "enhance the fire service in the City of Fulton."

"I was excited to make a recommendation to the Commission for him to be the next Fire Chief," Gunn said.
