SFPD CHIEF RELEASED FROM MEDICAL FACILITY FOLLOWING TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

South Fulton Police Chief Mitchell Maynard was treated and released from Baptist Hospital in Union City Tuesday, following his involvement in a vehicle accident in Union City.

According to South Fulton City Manager Joyce Gray, Maynard had been in Union City for court, and had been on his way to the Obion County Sheriff's Office when the accident occurred.

Gray said she had been at the facility when he was released, following a number of tests, later that day.
