Fulton, Hickman Independence Day activities planned

Fulton Tourism Commission will once again host an Independence Day celebration in the Twin Cities, which includes the Fulton Railroaders home baseball game at Lohaus Field, 101 Thedford St., Fulton, Ky., and a gigantic fireworks show following the Railroaders’ match-up with the Full Count Rhythm.
Game time is 5:30 p.m. for the Railroaders’ contest, and the first 300 spectators will be admitted for free general admission.
Following the game, fans may bring a lawn chair and remain at Lohaus Field for a great view of the Tourism Commission’s fireworks show, launched shortly following the conclusion of the Railroaders’ game from city park.
The event is sponsored by the Fulton Tourism Commission and the Fulton Railroaders.

The Hickman 1st United Methodist Church will provide free hot dogs, water, popsicles, and glo-sticks to spectators for the July 4 evening of Fourth, Faith, Fun from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., on the corner of Carroll and Tennessee Streets, in Hickman. Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs to watch the fireworks show afterwards.
The annual fireworks display, presented by the City of Hickman, will begin at 9 p.m., launched from the Elvis Stahr Harbor.
