AREA OBITUARIES – Shirley Edmundson

Shirley Ann (Cochrum) Edmundson, 75, of Munford, Tenn., passed away Mon., March 16, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Tipton in Covington, Tenn..
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Sat., March 21 in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Bro. Ron Gray will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9 a.m.until the hour of services.
She was born March 20, 1950, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late Lonnie B. and Ollie (Lamar) Cochrum. She married Donnie Edmundson on Aug. 4, 1979. He preceded her in death Aug. 3, 2018. 
She had been employed as office mananger for Vaughn Electric Company prior to moving to Munford. 
She enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis, and was a Tennessee Volunteer fan.
She is survived by one daughter, Megan Edmundson, of Atoka, Tenn.; one son, Chad Edmundson and wife Connie, of Tallahassee, Fla.; three grandchildren, Courtney Jeter, of Ripley, Tenn., Jennifer Sims and husband, Clay, of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Brock Edmundson, of Tallahassee, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Preston Jeter and Max Sims, both of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; and one sister-in-law, Elnora Cochrum, of Union City, Tenn.
