TRACTOR SHOW AND DAVID CROCKETT CELEBRATION AT DPA THIS WEEKEND

Discovery Park has combined two popular events on Friday, Aug. 11 and Saturday, Aug. 12. The Antique Tractor Show, sponsored by First Choice Farm and Lawn will take place on Friday and Saturday, and the celebration of David Crockett’s birthday will take place on Saturday.

Guest will have the opportunity to experience antique tractors from throughout the region, an auction of two tractors from Discovery Park’s collection, live music from Mulberry Jam, programs and demonstrations on early frontier life and more. All activities are included with general admission cost or Discovery Park membership.

Anyone who has an antique tractor they would like to display should take it to Discovery Park on Friday, August 11 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Saturday, August 12 from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. Everyone who enters a tractor for display will also receive two free passes to Discovery Park. On Saturday, the tractor show sends off with a parade now set for 3:00 p.m.
